Hi lovelies!
Today we, a bunch of nail bloggers, led by the wonderful Jessica, present a special manicure for Roselynn of Manicured & Marvelous. She's been struggling with her health lately and we want to show our support and love by recreating one of her manicures! I've been following her blog for ages and she's a great inspiration. She put the concept of pond stamping in my head, but I had not gotten around to doing it yet. This seems to me the perfect opportunity to try the technique she taught me!
I took most inspiration from the green manicure, as you can see. I started with a base of Incidental Twin "Green Flavor", from her amazing Squeeze Pop jelly collection, which I previously used here and here to leadlight.
Then I stamped with a foliage image from BC-13 with BPS white stamping polish, following one more coat of Green Flavor. Then I stamped with Konad dark green stamping polish and the same image, but a different orientation. Then more jelly, one more white stamp, one more coat of jelly, top coat and done!
My camera had a hard time determining which foliage to focus on :P
What do you think? I like the effect, but on the other hand it seems like a lot of mess on my nails.. I'm going to have to try this a couple more times, to get the hang of it and have them be as awesome as Rose's.
I wish Rose the very best, I'm sending her lots of health-vibes! And please check out all manicures from all the other lovely ladies who participated in this link-up! On social media, you'll find us under #ManisForRose.
