New Years Eve

Hi lovelies!

With this mani I'd like to wish you a wonderful New Year's Eve and a sparkling bright start of 2019! I'm not going to party big, but I will be celebrating with friends. So I did my nails in honour of it.

Friends on Friday - Holiday Fun!

Hello lovelies!

Happy New Year! My new year's resolution is getting my blogging mojo back, so I'm starting with a Friends on Friday issue, since I love doing other people's nails so much!

During the holidays I brought my nail art supplies to my family and did my sister's and my friend's nails. I had brought all my cute holiday stamping plates, but had forgotten my stamper. I looked everywhere for a spare, but no such luck. So I had to get creative the old fashioned way!

I started out with something I had had in mind with Ms. Sparkle's new gorgeous polish "Yasuko" (swatches are on their way).

Ms. Sparkle Carnival Collection

Hi lovelies!

Ms. Sparkle's newest collection is inspired by Carnival, a very fascinating tradition that originated a few thousand years ago and is celebrated all over the world, particularly in Catholic regions.

Indie Polish Holiday Collection pt. 2

Hello lovelies!

Welcome to the second part of Indie Polish's Holiday Collection! Let's have a look at the first pretty of today's trio: meet "Bah Humbug", Ebinizer's opinion of Christmas!

Indie Polish Holiday Collection pt. 1

Hello lovelies!

Sorry for having been MIA for a few days, but I'm back with awesomeness! I was sent 9 (NINE!) polishes by Tanya from Indie Polish and here are the first three pretties! Let's start with "Sugar Plums", a pink crelly with little holo gold glitters and purple microglitter:

Twinsie Thursday - Thanksgiving

Hello Lacquer Lovers!

It's Twinsie Thursday, so get to see (read? haha) me, Samantha, again! :) This month's theme was Thanksgiving! I know that Lothwen doesn't celebrate, because it is a predominately American holiday, but who doesn't love comfort food and turkeys?

Día de los Muertos - Sugar Skulls!

Hello lovelies!

Halloween will soon be upon us and therefore I have created this mani! Sugar skulls! My friend Samantha from Southern Sparkle Nail Art has done them once in a guest post, and I adored them, so I wanted to do my version of them. Here they are!

St. Paddy Skittle

Hello beauties,
And happy Tuesday!
Everybody is doing St. Paddy's Day designs, so even though we don't celebrate that, we thought we'd give it a shot. After all, green is fab ;) So here's the skittle:

We used Catrice "King of Greens" (dark green), Essence "Ice Crystals on My Window", W7 silver, Etos Quick Dry (light green) (which was then topped with Essence "Stop for an Ice Cream") and La Femme (white drawings). The glitter on the pinky is a gold topper from HEMA. The upper photo is the mani with a glossy finish, the lower one has a matte finish (also from HEMA).

Captain needs to work on her clovers. But still, it's a happy bunch of fingers!
