Metal Rush

Hello lovelies!

This is the mani I did on myself, using the gifts from my friends from Paris:

Flash:

Daylight:

Direct Sunlight:

These were the gifts (as I had posted earlier on instagram):

I used the Magnetic nail polish form C'est Tout Moi! by Europe Cosmetics in blue, and the silver glitter from Bling It On Rocks by Nails Inc. London. Love it!!!! Both were really nice when it comes to application. I've never been so successful in applying the magnets, but this one was easy to use!

Thank you my dear friends!

Friends on Friday: Hibiscus & Horizons

Hey lovelies!

So I had 2 friends from Paris over last weekend, and I got to do their nails, yay! I started with a coat of white, and then made gradients with a sponge. Then for the hibiscus, I followed Oh My Gosh Polish' tutorial. I really need better tools though... For the skyline, I was inspired by Cutepolish.

That was a lot of fun :) :)

Quick Swatch: Gosh - Berry Me

Hello polish people and what-not!

Today, a quick swatch of Gosh "Berry Me". When I saw it in store, I was drooling and when it finally went on a discount, flew to the store to buy it. It is such a lovely dark raspberry colour..

As you can see, it is somewhere between a jelly and a creme. It's not fully opaque in two coats, but that somehow doesn't matter at all. Application was very nice, not too thick, not too thin.

I decided to only do a little accent on the ring finger:

I did this with my silver striper from Essence. I really enjoyed this mani, the colour is so super classy, but not standard at all.. Love!

Tutorial Tuesday: Abstract Nail Art - No Tools Required!

Hello lovelies!

Today I want to show you a technique I picked up recently by @arle_nails (instagram). It is very easy and requires no tools! For this mani, I used all NYC polishes (except for W7 White): Lexington Yellow, Wild With Passion, Timeless Tangerine, Full Metal Jacket and Bubblegum Pink. Enjoy!

Here's how you do it:

Dupe Alert! Golden Rose 115 vs CG It's A Trap-eze!

Hello lovelies!

Quickie post! I have friends over from Paris, and we're gonna watch a new TV series in a minute (Devious Maids). I wanted to show you Golden Rose 115, a white crelly with multicolour glitter. And yes, it is a PERFECT dupe of CG It's A Trap-eze! Look:

Tell me, which is which?

So in case you were not able to get your hands on the China Glaze goodness, just get this one :) It's perfect :)

P.S. Right: CG, Left: GR. The CG evens out a little better than GR, but that is the only difference!

FoF: Hot Pink & Black Lace

Hi lovelies!

Time for another Friends on Friday! My friend went on holidays and the sea did wonders for her nails; they grew! So she kept them long for me until I could pain them. I saw something on Oh My Gosh Polish's IG, that she in turn had based on @Ra_Dina. This is my take on the matter!

The base colour is Catrice "The Pinky and the Brain" and the black is done with a striper and a dotting tool.

What do you think?

Paris Memories 297 - Swatch & Review

Hello!

I already showed you three Paris Memories polishes a little while ago. My mom gave me five of them, so here is the fourth :) Number 297. The nice thing about these polishes is that they are very cheap. And as you can see, they are quite decent. Full coverage in 2 coats and no difficulties with application at all. The wear time was only one day though, which is even short for me! But hey, for such prices, that is ok. It is quite pretty:

It's a nice olive coloured base with a gold shimmer that makes it switch between olive green and khaki. I put on star studs from Action (store) on the accent nail to give it a sort of army look. I quite enjoyed it. It has my approval!

Tutorial Tuesday: Patchwork Nail Art

Hello lovelies!

Again, I have been MIA.. So sorry! But here's another tutorial. Remember those patchwork nails? I showed you different ways to do these (summer, neon, monochrome), but they all come down to the same principle, that I will explain here. I did these nails on my friend:

So without further ado, the tutorial:
