Swatch-It Sunday: Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 108
Hello lovelies!
Today's Swatch-It Sunday features Golden Rose Jolly Jewels no. 108. I have shown you more jolly jewels, as you can recall, namely 111, 113, 103, 105, 122 and 115. I love them, since they are the closest thing to indies available here in Holland. This is number 108. It is opaque in two coats, needs lots of dabbing and is very hungry, so lots of top coat is required. But it's awesome!

Decided to try some nail art. So I took my striper brush and some black acrylic paint and did this:
Yeah, it needs a little more practice, but the idea is nice. I wish I had had some direct sunlight, that would have been awesome. But sadly, there was none during the two days I wore this mani. Next time maybe!

Dupe Alert! Golden Rose 115 vs CG It's A Trap-eze!
Hello lovelies!
Quickie post! I have friends over from Paris, and we're gonna watch a new TV series in a minute (Devious Maids). I wanted to show you Golden Rose 115, a white crelly with multicolour glitter. And yes, it is a PERFECT dupe of CG It's A Trap-eze! Look:

Mint Manis for Talia Joy
Hello lovelies,
No FoF today. Instead, we remember 13 year-old beauty guru Talia Joy, who sadly lost her battle against cancer last Tuesday. To remember and honour her, the nail polish community has decided to all wear a mint mani, as it is the last mani she posted on instagram. This is my contribution to this beautiful gesture.
I used Rimmel "Peppermint" and Golden Rose no. 122.

Swatch-It Sunday: Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 105
Hello pretties!
Today I have Golden Rose Jolly Jewels no. 105 for you. It is a lilac jelly with small purple hexes and large green hexes. It requires dabbing and placing and you will do good to get as much glitter on your nails in the first coat. But it dries really fast, so it is ok. First I will show you 2 coats alone:

As you can see, the weather is finally gorgeous here! So lucky! I was ill these past days, but the sun got me through it. And finally, after sporting this mani for 4 days (which was not so bad ;) ), I felt well enough to do my nails again :D
I have also tried out layering this polish, a while back. This is one coat over Essence "Very Berry":

I was wearing a purple sweater, so I thought of Curly Polish's hand positions (where I first saw this) and I grabbed my sweater (though she grabs her sleeves, but mine were not long enough):
For some reason I might like this better! It seems a bit more neat.. Well, that is just easier, so I am ok with that! I wonder what it looks like over black and red and...

Swatch-It Sunday: Golden Rose Jolly Jewels 113 - A Summer Beauty
Today I have a true beauty for you: Golden Rose Jolly Jewels no. 113! A pink jelly with small silver hexes and bigger orange hexes. So simple, so bright! Look:
This beauty is opaque in 2 coats. The glitter needs a lot of dabbing, but it is worth it. It is a bit hungry, so it needs a lot of top coat. I didn't even do nail art with this. I did not even want to. It is too pretty. Look at the depth.. Wow!
I bought this pretty here, it is a freaking steal! That's all for today, but I have a surprise for you on Tuesday!
