Weekend Away Manis for me and my friends!

Hi lovelies!

So the season of taking weekend trips has begun. Not that I have many of them lined up, but I had one last weekend, a weekend away with the company I work for, to celebrate its 20-year anniversary! We went to Sneek, a little town in Friesland, a province of the Netherlands that is famous for its perfect lakes for sailing - which is exactly what we were going to do for team building, so I just HAD TO do a mani for that!

Simple nautical frenchies

Hello lovelies!

Did you enter my GIVEAWAY already?! The prize consists of Glam Glaze SpectraFlair top coat, a Trust Fund Beauty polish of your choice and some striping tape. I've done a simple design with the latter, for Kim from OverallBeauty sent me some recently!

Nautical Nails

Hello lovelies!

Today I want to show you the mani I did for my weekend of sailing :) One of my dear friends is a sailing expert and she took me sailing on the Frisian lakes :) That called for an appropriate mani:

It is inspired by The Nailasaurus. I used striping tape for the lines, my first time using striping tape! It is amazing stuff... I used Rimmel "My Denim" for the blue,  Essence "Fame Fatal" for the red, W7 "White" for the white base and NYC "Full Metal Jacket" for the gold. I freehanded the anchor with a nail art brush and dotting tool.

What do you think?
