Birthday mani for Diana

Hi lovelies!

I was invited to join in on a collaboration for Diana van Nisselroy's birthday! We all recreated one of her manicures. This my mani:

Dot dot dot...

Hi lovelies!

Back in the good old days, when one could meet with friends, travel with public transportation, eat in restaurants and wander aimlessly from shop to shop, I went to Amersfoort with a friend. At some point we found ourselves in a new kind of drugstore, where they sold cheap but decent-looking nail polishes from "Dark Blond". They were much cheaper than here on the website! I restrained myself and only bought three that looked great together: a raspberry, a purple and a lilac shade:

Witchy!

Hello lovelies!

How about something for halloween, I thought! I didn't have a lot of time though, so I decided on a simple gradient:

Sunset Gradient

Hello lovelies!

I felt like doing a three-toned holo gradient with sunset shades would impress someone I needed to impress, so I did one...

The Digit-al Dozen presents: In My Garden - What I wish my garden looked like

Hi lovelies!

Still busy with my new house, which is why I completely forgot the start of this new challenge! However the moving did make me an actual garden-owner, which does make this challenge - In My Garden - more fun!

Luckily I had a mani in the vault from last challenge (where we were inspired by each other), which I didn't manage to post. It is quite fitting, since it depicts what my dream garden would look like! It is inspired by this wonderful manicure by Oksana - a.k.a. The Polished Koi.

The Digit-al Dozen: All That Glitters - Gradient

Hello lovelies!

One of my favourite things to do with glitter is creating a gradient... for today's manicure I took my very first indie glitter topper: Different Dimension "Another Brick in the Wall":

The Digit-al Dozen's Throwback Week - Gradient +

Hello lovelies!

"Gradient +" was another theme from before my time. I love gradients, they're always a great idea if you don't know what to do ;-) I also had not done a glitter gradient for a while and then I remembered the box of glitter I was sent for review by born pretty store. So here is a glitter placement gradient:

The Digit-al Dozen does Story Genres - Romance

Hello lovelies!

Keeping it short today, because it's waaaay past my bedtime. I based today's manicure on my favourite romance novel of the moment: Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins!

When I first saw the cover, it screamed mani to me, so this was the perfect opportunity!

I started with a base of Celestial Cosmetics "Poipu Sunset" and then created a gradient with LynBDesigns "Nightmare Revisited" and Celestial "Hokulani". Then I sponged on some mixture of grey, black and silver holo. Then I created the buildings and the wonky Eiffel Tower with Rimmel Black Out and a detail brush. The lights are Poipu Sunset again. I sealed it al in with SV.

I hope you like it, despite the Eiffel Tower's wonkiness...

Have a look at the other ladies' manicures below!

Catrice "Pulse of Purism" Limited Editions

Hello lovelies!

A long while ago, I bought one of Catrice's limited editions (well, only the nail polishes): "Pulse of Purism". I didn't get around to posting them, but on the off-chance that they're still in your local drugstore, I figured: better late than never! The nail polish part of this collection comprises of three cremes and 1 special effect topper.

BP-L049 Stamping with Colombian Polishes!

Hello lovelies!

A while back my Colombian friends gifted me these beautiful Wendy nail polishes and I have been using them a lot. They also go very well together, so I created a gradient with two of them:

Flaming Flowers - We wear pink 4 Chrissy

Hi lovelies!

Today a bunch of us are wearing pink to celebrate Chrissy, the maker of Turtle Tootsy Polishes, being 5 years breast cancer free! I don't own any TTPs, but I've enjoyed looking at other peoples swatches a lot.

The Digit-al Dozen does Colour Contrasts! - Clashing & Cute

Hi lovelies!

Personally I find that one of the most clashing colour combos is purple and green. I was curious to see if I could do a non-Halloween-y, non-ugly manicure using these two colours and... Eureka! I found the magic trick to combining purple and green! It's a blue buffer zone. A blue buffer zone saved the day!

5 Shades of Pink

Hello lovelies!

I didn't care much for those 50 shades of Grey, I'd rather have loads of happy pink! Therefore I used 5 shades in one manicure:
