Accent nails with BP Spring Garden L003

Hi lovelies!

Today the weather was awfully dreary, so let's jump back a few days, to when I could take nail pics in sunlight! Now I don't always have a whole lot of time, so sometimes an accent nail will have to do. I got this new plate that is perfect for just that: BP Spring Garden L003.

Sunset Gradient

Hello lovelies!

I felt like doing a three-toned holo gradient with sunset shades would impress someone I needed to impress, so I did one...

The Digit-al Dozen presents: In My Garden - What My Garden Actually Looks Like

Hello lovelies!

Yesterday I showed one of my dream gardens and today I present my actual garden. My actual garden is nothing but clinker bricks. However, one of my good friends gave me a geranium plant when I had just signed the lease, as an early housewarming present. It was the first thing of mine to be in the new house and later in the garden. It is still there! Therefore I dedicate this manicure to the geranium that pinks up my grey garden:

The Digit-al Dozen does Mythical Creatures - Fairies

Hi lovelies!

After three dark manicures I figured we needed some bright colours, so I tried to come up with something happy or cute and then I saw Kerry's manicure, so I drew inspiration from that!

Go, Holland, Go!

Hello lovelies!

The Winter Olympics have been entertaining the world for a week now, so it is time to manicuristically cheer on Team NL! The Dutch national colour being orange and the entire Dutch Olympic Team being stars (especially those speed skaters), the manicure is simply this:

The Digit-al Dozen: All That Glitters - Gradient

Hello lovelies!

One of my favourite things to do with glitter is creating a gradient... for today's manicure I took my very first indie glitter topper: Different Dimension "Another Brick in the Wall":

Funny Phantoms

Hi lovelies!

I'm sorry for posting so very sporadically, I can't seem to get back into the rhythm with life being all weird nowadays.. I hope this week I'll do better. So this manicure was supposed to be posted a week ago, but yeah.. it's still cute though!

Neon on! - pt. 4

Hello lovelies!

Okay so this is going to be the last neon mani for a little while, because I'm trying to come to terms with this whole autumn concept. Oh well. One last day of denial with some neon paisley!

The Digit-al Dozen does Story Genres - Romance

Hello lovelies!

Keeping it short today, because it's waaaay past my bedtime. I based today's manicure on my favourite romance novel of the moment: Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins!

When I first saw the cover, it screamed mani to me, so this was the perfect opportunity!

I started with a base of Celestial Cosmetics "Poipu Sunset" and then created a gradient with LynBDesigns "Nightmare Revisited" and Celestial "Hokulani". Then I sponged on some mixture of grey, black and silver holo. Then I created the buildings and the wonky Eiffel Tower with Rimmel Black Out and a detail brush. The lights are Poipu Sunset again. I sealed it al in with SV.

I hope you like it, despite the Eiffel Tower's wonkiness...

Have a look at the other ladies' manicures below!

The Digit-al Dozen does Story Genres - Dystopian SciFi

Hello lovelies!

I like reading, but lately I can only handle the simple stuff. Dystopian science fiction is one of those things that I love, like The Hunger Games and Divergent. This manicure is inspired by the latter. Can you see what it is?

LynBDesigns "Sprung"

Hi lovelies!

With my last order from LynBDesigns came a suprise polish: "Sprung" This made my mind go to "spring", which actually sprung a long time ago, but is always good for manicures. Hence this post!

Nail Pattern Boldness "Glitter Food"

This product was sent to me for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
Hello lovelies!

This post is long overdue. I promised I'd write it ages ago, but since I wanted to put a lot of work in it, I never found the time. It's about one of the absolute necessities when it comes to indie polishes: Glitter Food

The Digit-al Dozen Redoes Art - Lotus

Hello lovelies!

So I'm still a day behind, and I won't be able to catch up, so on day 4 I present you day 3 of The Digit-al Dozen Redoes Art! Keeping in tune with my floral theme, I decided to think back to when flowers first appeared in art (art which has withstood the sands of time and is widely known). So Egypt and their blue loti sprang to mind!

The Digit-al Dozen Redoes Art - Peonies

Hi lovelies!

After the poppies, I was in the mood for more florals. Hence, I stole Marisa's approach of doing a week of flowers! She did amazing freehand florals from different decades; I'll do florals from different ages and art movements. Today I have peonies from the Middle Ages:
