Christmas Eve Mani: Silent Night by Jindie Nails

Hello lovelies!

Merry Christmas Eve!
This is what I'll be wearing to church tonight:

It is another beauty by Jindie Nails, called Silent Night. Now here's why I HAD to wear it tonight: Tonight me and my family will go to church and we always love going on Christmas Eve, since we get to sing lots of songs and it's all about happiness and love. One of my favourite songs is Silent Night and it has recently been banned from the official Book of Christmas Songs by some very old and cranky bishops, together with one of my other favourite songs about the shepherds, which is I think a typical Dutch song (so I don't think many of you know it). Both songs are classics, they're the first songs one learns as a child, and now they've been deemed not good enough anymore. I will refrain from further conveying my thoughts and feelings on the matter, as they are not very Christmassy.

Tonight however, my mani is one of protest and rebellion and I hope that the folks who put together tonight's mass share my state of mind.

<I'm back from church and YES THEY TOTALLY REBELLED! They sang it twice, once at the beginning and once at the end :D>

I even made jewelry...

LOVE IT LOVE IT! Oh as for the polish: Little bits of fishing for the big glitters, but opaque in two easy coats and just amazing.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!

Mani Monday: Hippie Cuteness

Hello lovelies!

There was a party last weekend and it was all about hippie cuteness, peace and love. The birthday girl requested a mani with Princess Consuela Banana Hammock (even though she didn't know the story behind the name, proving the perfection of the polish).

Jindie Nails - Princess Consuela Banana Hammock

Hey lovelies!

So recently I got my first Jindies. Ever since I saw Princess Consuela Banana Hammock, I needed to have it BAD. I'm one of the biggest Friends fans of all time, and when I saw this polish, I just thought is was extremely fantastically Phoebe. And I love Phoebe. (I love all of the six Friends, equally of course). I kept not being able to get it, but then I saw that Jindie had a limited time of international shipping, so I just went for it! The good thing is that on the Jindie shop itself, one can order the minis (and by that, I just mean more pretties for the same price ;-) ).
