The Digit-al Dozen Looks Up - My Awesome Lamp

Hi lovelies!

When I look up from my couch, I see my awesome new lamp. So for this month's "Look Up" challenge, it's the perfect inspiration! I remember walking into the hardware store for paint or brushes or whatever and being swept off my feet by this lamp. I had to have it. It consists of bronze triangles that form a icosahedron that in turn from some angles projects as a hexagon onto my retina and the lamp itself projects rhombus light patterns.

Alright, how to combine Valentine's Day with this week's Black theme, while still maintaining my title mojo of "Things that are black or have 'black' in their name/expression". This was tricky business, but I figured it out... When does the amount of babies born suddenly increase? Precisely! 9 months after a power outage! Blackout! Sudden darkness seems to ignite some sweet, sweet lovin' ;)

Friends on Friday - Yay my friend got married!

Recently one of my friends got married! I was super happy that she asked me to do her nails :) She got married in a small ceremony, in a super cute dress, which you can see in the pics. The pictures were all (but one) taken by the wedding photographer, who kindly provided me with the pictures to share.

Today one of my dear friends got married. Yesterday I did her nails; we spent all afternoon coming up with the perfect manicure to accompany her dress. I don't have pics yet, so you'll get to see those later. In the meantime, I did my nails in a similar fashion, to manicurally (I invented another word, whoohoo!) celebrate with her!

Tonight I'm celebrating the season finale of one of my new favourite shows - Limitless - and mourning the upcoming months without it, that is, if it comes back at all. So I'm showing my love for Limitless with a manicure, in which I use Incidental Twin's special Limitles polish "On NZT" as a base.
