Essence Stay Matt "Smooth Berry" - Swatch & Review

Hey beauties!

Here a quick review of another matt lip cream from essence: Smooth Berry. I loved Silky Red so much that I had to try this one out as well! It is very eye-catching, see for yourself:

I love it. The colour is perfect for summer! Application is easy, and it stays on the lips for hours. I did not care much for the sweet scent, but I know lots of you will love it. And you get used to it if you don't ;) It is such a nice way to follow the trend for very little money! Here in Holland it retails for 1.99 euros. There are also two nude ones, that I'm not sure will look good on me, but if nude is your thing then they are definitely worth trying out!

Review: Essence Stay Matte Lip Cream no.4 Silky Red

Hi beauties!

Today I have a budget matte lip product, that I'm super happy with! It's Essence Stay Matte Lip Cream no.4 "Silky Red". Matte lip sticks are very trendy at the moment, but the first ones out there were not really cheap. This one retails for 2 euros. Super budget, and super good! It's not a lip stick, but a lip cream that has the same opacity as a lip stick! Because of the applicator, it applies easier than a lip stick. Although, as you can see in the photo, still a bit tricky, but I always have problems with that, I should probably buy lip pencils. 

The cream feels really nice on the lips, not sticky, but very soft. I love the matte stuff. It is also very long lasting, easily for a couple of hours. It contains 0.13 fl. oz / 4 ml. It comes in 3 other colours as well, 2 nudes and a deep pink colour:

Conclusion: I want the other 3 colours ;)

Review: Catrice "Bring Me Peach" Lip Balm Stick from the LE "Candy Shock"

Hey hey!

Today a short post, but I want to get it out soon, because it's about one of the limited edition products of Catrice. Catrice put two lip balm sticks in their LE "Candy Shock", "Bring Me Peach" and "Sugar Shock". They describe them as caring with a whiff of colour. 

I picked up "Bring Me Peach". "Sugar Shock" is a very light pink, so I already kinda knew it was not gonna look good on me. But I had to try out one of them, I mean, look at it! So interesting! (Well done, marketing wise :P)

Ok so how does it look? First: Daylight:

Not impressed. It doesn't even out and it makes my lips look, uhm, dead. (It's creapy!) I think this would look a lot beter on someone with a different complexion. It's just not for me. But how is it in artificial light? 

Not bad. Sort of a golden glow, that is much better. It's very subtle, but not unflattering. 

So I will only wear this at night ;) It is nice, and it is smooth, and it smells nice :) It takes care of my lips and I can feel that. So overall, even though the colour might not be for me, the formula is nice :)
