Pinky & Lacy

Hi lovelies!

I tried a super girly manicure today, with pink and lace and everything! And negative space. I love negative space. This is what it turned out to be:

I started with a layer of Ms. Sparkle "Enchanting", to get a little sparkle beneath the lace. It isn't obvious in the pictures, but I enjoyed the subtle sparkle a lot while wearing it.

Then I stamped with BPS white stamping polish and a few lace designs from the BC stamping plate series. It didn't go perfectly, the thinner lines are sometimes hard to pick up with these plates... But for almost no money, they're ok ;)

Then, after sealing in the stamping with some SV, I taped off the middle with straight tip guides and applied Rimmel "Sweet Retreat". Along the linies, I freehanded white stripes with a striper. They didn't come out all that well, but oh well... Another coat of SV and done!

What do you think? Any suggestions on how to improve?
