Ms. Sparkle "Candy Crush" - Polish Pickup Sugar Rush

Hi lovelies!

I have one excellent press sample polish to show you today... it's part of The Polish Pickup - a facebook group where makers create polishes inspired by a monthly theme. The polishes are then sold in the Polish Pickup store at the beginning of each month. You get to pick which polishes you want and you pay a flat rate shipping cost of $3.

February's theme is Sugar Rush and Simone from Ms. Sparkle Polish created the incredibly happy jelly "Candy Crush":

Would you look at that, isn't it super yummy?! I love it. This bright blue jelly is filled with all kinds of glitter, both matte and holo. From big circles and stars to the tiniest holo sparkles, it's all there! Shown here are three coats, although short nails could easily get away with two. The big glitters of course make this polish hungry, so be sure to use some glitter food to smooth it out.

I play Candy Crush Jelly Saga daily; I'm on the train a lot and this game is one of the things that get me through those boring parts of the daily grind - enhancing my appreciation for this polish even more, if that's even possible!

Of course, matte too:

This polish is perfection; so much going on, but it all comes together perfectly. It's also a lot like a mermaid's birthday party to me, can you see it too? Look at the glossy version once more to see what I mean:

This and many other Sugar Rush inspire polishes will be available from February 2 - 5 on polishpickup.com. All items will ship a minimum of three weeks after the pre-order closes. This allows time for each maker to make their products and get them mailed to Polish Pickup who will then send them out to you.

So what do you think of this jelly? And do you prefer it glossy or matte?

  1. This is a fun polish and your photos are amazing as always. I just don't think this one is for me. I'm on the fence about it. It's got so much going on that it's interesting but almost too interesting if that makes sense.
