Ms. Sparkle "Chemical X" - Polish Pickup May - 90's!

Hello lovelies!

I know I've been MIA - I'm currently in the process of moving house and renovating and everything, so life's been kinda crazy! Fortunately I have fantastic friends and family helping me out, or I wouldn't be able to get things done in a million years!

Anyhow, onto the pretty polish of the day! It's Ms. Sparkle's contribution to May's Polish Pickup. Theme of the month is The 90's and that's right up Simone's alley! One of her favourite things is all things Powerpuff Girls, a fun animation series that was conceived in the nineties and ran until well in the new millennium! The secret behind the girls' powers is Chemical X and there's where this beautiful little concoction comes in:

This gorgeous orange jelly is infused with pink-green shifting unicorn pigment, unicorn flakies and scatter holo. In the shade, the green shift is very beautifully visible. In sunlight the pigment and holo sparkle like mad:

Of course such shimmer and flakies also need mattifying:

"Chemical X" is opaque in 2 coats and applies very easily. I love how it's sparkly in the sun and shimmery in the shade. Very versatile and fun!

A little nail art was easy with this polish, given the name:

I used Nails Redesigned (sadly went out of business) X Shield nail vinyls and some black stamping polish. Afterwards I sealed it in with SV.

This and many other 90's inspired nail polishes will be available May 4th-8th on PolishPickup.com. I recommend you take a little cyber stroll through the shop next week!
