Ms. Sparkle Burlesque Collection - Shimmy & Pastie

Hello lovelies!

FIRST: do not forget to enter Ms. Sparkle's GIVEAWAY!

I have two gorgeous new polishes from Ms. Sparkle's upcoming limided edition collection for the bold and vampy: The Burlesque collection! I have Shimmy and Pastie to show you. Check out Shimmy!

Shimmy: A prolonged shaking of the hips or shoulders, which is greatly accentuated if a performer’s costume is fringed.

Yes I can totally see some sexy lady shaking her hips wearing this polish... It is super beautiful, and vampy, with the teal-to-blue-to-purple colour shift and the sparkles in the sunshine... As with all such multichromes, it needs to be applied over black or another dark base. Application was flawless. This is two coats over black and 1 coat SV. And look, it has gold and green shimmers when hit by direct sunlight! Whoaaaa!

It's just gorgeous, so here are a few more pics:

OK now let's check out Pastie!

*Pastie: Anything glued over the nipple (although they can also be stuck to other parts of the body, such as the derriere). They are usually circular but can be any shape, and are usually made out of fabric but can be made out of anything, including cheese. Often tassels are sewn to the tip of the pasties, and performers twirl them by bouncing or shimmying.

This beautiful gold-to-pink duochrome is a little more coarse-grained, but no less beautiful! Application is flawless. Again, this is 2 coats over black plus 1 coat SV. The bottle-shot is not totally in focus.. my camera had trouble with the sparkliness of this pretty (plus, it was raining outside). I just ordered a light box out of pure frustration... ;)

I did some stamping over this gorgeous duochrome!

I did not want to take this off...

The entire collection will be available tomorrow!
