Ms. Sparkle Playtime Collection - Lothwen

Hello lovelies!

I'm over the moon with today's post; the wonderful Simone from Ms. Sparkle named two nail polishes after me! She wanted to thank me for helping her ^_^ I'm so honoured! I mean, you know something must be a big deal, for it to have nail polish named after it... and now I, ME! has nail polish named after ME! Wow...

So of course, I get to do the swatching honours, so today I present you... Lothwen!

"Lothwen" is a gorgeous white crelly with pink dots, purple shreds, black micro glitter and black LEOPARD SPOTS! Yes, that's right! It's all the rage in indie land and I got it! Whooooooooo!

This is three coats of "Lothwen". It applies nicely and no fishing is needed for the big leopard spots, although they do require some placing, which is normal. A smoothing top coat also comes in handy, so I used 1 coat of gel look top coat (Essence) and 1 coat of SV.

I love it, I love it, I love it! Thank you so much, Simone! It's the sweetest thing ever <3

Ms. Sparkle "Lothwen" is part of the new "Playtime" collection and will be in the shop tonight!

What do you think of this polish and the leopard spot glitter in general? Go here to see "Akira", the second polish in this collection and a different take on the Leopard Spot Glitter mania!

  2. The base is a bit too frosty looking for me, but I love the glitters and the addition of the purple glitters! So exciting to have a polish named after you!!

  3. I'm with Jessica, it's a bit too frosty for my personal tastes, and I'm not loving the leopard glitters yet (I'm sure they'll grow on me at some point!). Great swatches!

  4. Congratulations on getting a polish named after you. I have the same feeling as some of the other lasdies with it being a bit too frosty for my tastes. I think it takes away from that great glitter mix.

  6. That's so awesome to have a polish named after you! I'm not really into the leopard print glitter craze right now, but I do like the pop of purple shard glitter!

  11. The crelly base seems like it was made for winter. Pretty, but I'm not into this leopard glitter craze. How excited to have a namesake polish! Did you giggle when typing "This is 3 coats of Lothwen" :p
